Walking Group
In August, we were excited to launch our new Walking Group, led by our dedicated volunteer, Alaina. This initiative is more than just a chance to get outside—it's an opportunity to improve mental health through the simple yet powerful act of walking and is for people at all levels of fitness.
Walking is known to have numerous benefits for mental well-being, from reducing stress and anxiety to boosting mood and providing a sense of connection with others. Alaina's leadership and enthusiasm have already made the group a welcoming and supportive space for all who join. We encourage everyone to take part, enjoy the fresh air, and experience the positive impact that walking can have on both body and mind.
To join us, please meet at Cookson House every Wednesday from 10am.
